Glenaire is hiring a Dietay and Housekeeping Homemaker to support residents in dining and housekeeping services within a nursing or assisted living household.

The role emphasizes serving senior adults, maintaining a clean environment, and promoting residents' well-being through meaningful relationships and social activities. Training and certification are encouraged to ensure high-quality care.

Qualifications

• Dining and/or housekeeping experience preferred.
• ServSafe certification or willingness to become certified.
• Desire to serve senior adults.
• Positive outlook.
• Ability to take initiative and be detail oriented.
• Working independently and on a team.
• Flexible and able to handle a fast pace.
• Great communication and documentation skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide dining and housekeeping services to residents to support daily living.
• Prepare and serve meals and maintain a clean, safe living environment.
• Promote residents' psychosocial well-being through relationships and social activities.
• Collaborate with dining and housekeeping teams to ensure quality care.

Glenaireis hiring: Dietary and Housekeeping - Homemaker

Housekeeping Homemakers provide service to the residents in the nursing or assisted living households to help meet their daily needs. This includes preparing and serving meals and housekeeping and cleaning that enable them to function at the highest possible level. While Household Coordinators lead the team,the Housekeeping Homemaker (dietary/housekeeping)is a primaryadvocate for the residents in the household. The Homemaker, along with dining and housekeeping services, also promotes the residents' psychosocial well-being through meaningful relationship building, helping plan and facilitate social activities, and maintaining a safe environment.

Required:

• Dining and/or housekeeping experience preferred
• ServSafe certification or willingness to become certified
