Job summary

Merrill Gardens, a senior living community, is seeking an experienced Housekeeper to maintain clean, safe, and welcoming living spaces for our residents. You will perform daily housekeeping tasks, respond to resident needs with courtesy, and coordinate with other departments to ensure a pristine environment.

The role requires 1–2 years of housekeeping experience, a friendly attitude, and the ability to obtain First Aid and CPR certification.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is required
• 1–2 years housekeeping experience in a similar environment preferred
• Experience working with seniors or in a customer-service setting is helpful
• Ability to obtain First Aid and CPR certification

Responsibilities

• Thoroughly clean and maintain resident apartments and common areas.
• Provide a high level of customer service to residents and guests.
• Report needed supplies and coordinate housekeeping services with other departments.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Our Housekeepers are responsible for:

• Thoroughly cleaning and providing daily upkeep of resident apartments and common areas.
• Providing a high level of customer service to all residents and guests.
• Reporting needed supplies to appropriate designee and coordinating housekeeping services with other departments.
• Other duties as assigned.

If you are someone with:

• High school diploma or GED (must be at least 18 years of age).
• One to two years of housekeeping experience in a similar environment (preferred).
• Experience working with seniors or in a customer service-focused environment (helpful).
• Ability to obtain First Aid and CPR certification.

Physical Requirements:

This role involves frequent standing, walking, lifting (up to 90 lbs), pushing/pulling, and other physical activities. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.
