Glenaire is seeking a Common Area Attendant to maintain high standards of cleanliness in common areas, offices, and back-of-house spaces. The role includes greeting residents, following security and safety procedures, and supporting the Environmental Services team to ensure a safe, welcoming environment.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of cleaning procedures and infection control.
• Ability to acknowledge and interact pleasantly with residents and colleagues.
• Adherence to safety regulations and environmental policies.

Responsabilités

• Clean all public and employee restrooms to community standards.
• Maintain stock of public area closets and communicate stock levels.
• Report maintenance concerns to EVS Leader and follow up as needed.
• Stock supplies and refill chemicals for housekeeping carts for the next day.
• Complete monthly, weekly, and yearly cleaning procedures.
• Assist with other tasks assigned by the Director of Environmental Services.

Description du poste

The Common Area Attendant will provide a high level of cleanliness and service within common areas, offices, and back of house areas, as needed.

• Works in Independent Living and Health Care of Glenaire and has knowledge of all aspects of cleaning procedures.
• Cleaning all public and employee restrooms to community standards.
• Acknowledge residents and colleagues in a pleasant manner.
• Follow security procedures regarding resident belongings.
• Stocking of all public area closets and proactive communication regarding stock levels.
• Report all maintenance concerns to a EVS Leader.
• Stock supplies and refill chemicals for Housekeeping cart for next day preparation.
• Compliance with all safety regulations of assigned tasks and ensure a clean and safe working environment.
• Has knowledge of infection control, OSHA/SDS, and hazardous chemicals and waste. Able to see that Environmental Service Department performs responsibilities to pass Health Department Inspections in cleanliness.
• Adhere to all environmental policies and programs as required.
• Completes all special cleaning procedures that are scheduled for monthly, weekly, yearly cleaning.
• To perform any other tasks that may be assigned by the Director of Environmental Services
• Have high standards to safety, cleanliness, and the property of the residents of Glenaire.
