Job summary

Nexus Health Systems is seeking a Dietary Director to oversee day-to-day operations of the dietary department at the Shenandoah facility. You will ensure quality food preparation and strict adherence to food safety regulations while leading a diverse team across shifts.

The role demands strong leadership, clinical nutrition expertise, and budget oversight to maintain excellent patient meal service and compliance with HIPAA and facility policies.

Qualifications

• Must have high school diploma or equivalent.
• Associates degree in culinary arts, Bachelors degree preferred.
• Minimum of 7 years of progressive experience in nutrition services, with at least 3 years in a leadership or management role.

Responsibilities

• Direct all dietary department staff.
• Responsible for the Dietary Staff schedule.
• Interview, hire, train, supervise, evaluate and discipline dietary personnel.
• Adheres to Food Safety Manual and ensure sanitation etc.
