Job summary

PACS is seeking a Dietary Manager to lead the dietary department in a long-term care setting. You will oversee meal preparation, staff scheduling, inventory, and adherence to dietary orders while coordinating with other departments to ensure resident nutrition needs are met.

You will lead inspections, audits, and quality assurance efforts, with required certifications and at least 1 year of LTC dietary experience.

Qualifications

• Completed an approved dietary manager’s course and required certifications.
• Minimum 1 year of experience in a long-term care facility dietary department (preferred).

Responsibilities

• Lead food preparation and supervise dietary staff.
• Manage inventory, orders, and regulatory compliance.
• Maintain documentation and resident dietary assessments.
• Coordinate special meals and nutrition services with other departments.
• Prepare for inspections and quality assurance.
