Job summary

The waters of sullivan is seeking a Dietary Director to lead the facility's dietary department, ensuring quality nutrition services are delivered daily in a clean and safe environment. You will collaborate with nursing and support teams to optimize resident diets and care plans.

Responsibilities include coordinating services, developing policies, assessing resident dietary needs, and guiding staff in meal planning and compliance with physician orders.

Qualifications

• Coordinate dietary services with Nursing, Housekeeping, and Social Services.
• Assist in developing and using dietary policies, procedures, and equipment.
• Assist in developing assessments of residents' dietary needs.
• Assist in drafting written dietary plans of care and goals.
• Ensure care plans are used to guide daily dietary services.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate dietary services with related departments.
• Assist in scheduling care plans and assessments for committees.
• Review and revise care plans quarterly as needed.
• Provide substitute foods with similar nutritive value when needed.
• Ensure equipment operation and sanitation of kitchen facilities.
• Attend mandatory meetings and participate in surveys.
