Rock Creek Rehabilitation and Healthcare Center in Monte Vista, Colorado, is seeking a dedicated Dietary Manager to lead the Nutrition and Dietary Services team. This Full-Time role offers competitive pay, daily pay options, and comprehensive benefits in a supportive, resident-focused environment.

You will direct daily operations, ensure regulatory compliance, and manage menus, staff, inventory, and collaboration with nursing to meet residents' nutritional needs and safety standards.

Qualifications

• Previous experience as a Dietary Manager, Dietary Director, or similar leadership role.
• Long-term care or healthcare dietary experience preferred.
• Knowledge of food safety, sanitation, and dietary regulations.
• Strong organizational and leadership skills.
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Dependable, professional, and resident-focused.
• Passion for providing quality nutrition and service to seniors.

Responsibilities

• Plan, organize, and direct the daily operations of the Dietary Department.
• Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations.
• Maintain high standards for food safety, sanitation, and infection control.
• Develop and maintain menus that meet residents' nutritional needs, preferences, and physician-ordered diets.
• Supervise, train, schedule, and support dietary staff.
• Monitor food preparation, portion control, meal service, and presentation.
• Manage food inventory, ordering, and department costs.
• Maintain appropriate food supplies and inventory levels.
• Work closely with nursing and other clinical departments regarding residents' nutritional needs.
• Help accommodate special diets and individual resident preferences.
• Monitor resident satisfaction and address dietary concerns.
• Maintain accurate dietary records and documentation.
• Promote a clean, safe, and welcoming dining environment.

About the Role
