Job summary

Emerald Nursing and Rehabilitation in Elizabethtown, PA is seeking a Dietary Director to lead daily food service operations and maintain high nutrition standards for residents.

You will recruit and train staff, design meal programs, manage inventory and budgets, ensure sanitary preparation, and align services with residents' dietary needs in a compassionate, family-like environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in dietary management or a related field preferred.
• Previous experience in food services (management experience preferred).
• Excellent organizational and leadership skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage daily food service operations in the facility.
• Recruit, hire, and train new staff members.
• Instruct staff on how to create the meals that you design.
• Maintain the inventory of our kitchens.
• Establish a budget and work within its confines.
• Ensure that meals are prepared and delivered in sanitary ways.
• Create and manage the kitchen staff schedule.
