Job summary

Mission Nursing Home (MNH) in Plymouth, MN is seeking a Dietary Coordinator to manage daily operations of the Dietary Department and ensure compliance with state and federal food service regulations. The role requires coordinating orders and staff, training, and supporting resident care, with a schedule of 8–10 days per pay period and occasional weekend shifts.

The ideal candidate has a high school diploma, ServSafe certification (or within 60 days), and experience in healthcare or senior care

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• ServSafe certification required or must be obtained within 60 days of hire.
• Experience in senior care or healthcare preferred.
• Ability to ensure food safety and regulatory compliance.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and place food and supply orders within budget.
• Maintain records and reporting per regulations.
• Audit dietary operations for compliance.
• Provide training and support to dietary staff.
• Serve as backup for Dietary Director when needed.
• Ensure meals meet safety and quality standards.
