Job summary

Monroe Health & Rehab Center in a skilled nursing setting seeks a dedicated dietary team member to prepare meals according to resident diets and safety standards. You’ll work under the supervision of the Food Service Director in a supportive, family-like atmosphere.

The role requires a high school diploma, knowledge of food safety, and the ability to meet state food handler requirements. We offer benefits, PTO, tuition assistance, and a $500 sign-on bonus.

Qualifications

• Must be a high school graduate or equivalent is required.
• We can provide guidance and resources to help you earn your GED.
• Must possess a working knowledge of the fundamentals of food safety and sanitation.
• Must meet and remain current with state specific requirements for food handler training.

Responsibilities

• Prepare food in accordance with prescribed resident diet specifications and safety standards.
• Follow community procedures and maintain sanitary standards and food safety policies.
• Support the Dietary Policies and Procedures as directed by the Food Service Director.
