Live Well Healthcare Solutions in Charlotte, NC, is seeking a Dietary Cook for a Skilled Nursing Facility. You will prepare, portion, and cook nutritious meals for breakfast, lunch, and dinner following standardized recipes.

Responsibilities include plating and presentation, maintaining kitchen sanitation, inventory and recipe management, and supporting the Dietary Manager during their absence to ensure seamless meal prep. Must be available every other weekend.

Qualifications

• Classically trained cook with experience in high-volume culinary operations.
• Ability to follow standardized recipes and portion meals.
• Strong sanitation practices and food safety awareness.

• Plating & Presentation: garnish and present dishes attractively.
• Leadership Support: assist Dietary Manager during their absence to ensure seamless meal prep.
• Kitchen Sanitation: maintain high sanitation standards before and after service.
• Inventory & Recipe Management: manage inventory, handle stock rotation, assist with purchasing, and support recipe development.
• Special Events: handle last-minute culinary requests for events and facility functions.

Position Overview & Key Responsibilities

We are seeking a talented, classically trained Cook experienced in high-volume culinary operations to join our team at a Skilled Nursing Facility.

• Meal Preparation & Culinary Excellence: Accurately and efficiently prepare, portion, and cook a variety of nutritious meals for breakfast, lunch, and dinner following standardized recipes.

• Plating & Presentation: Plate and garnish all cooked items expertly to ensure an attractive menu presentation.

• Leadership Support: Act as a liaison for the Dietary Manager during their absence to ensure seamless meal prep and delivery.

• Kitchen Sanitation: Maintain high sanitation standards by thoroughly cleaning the kitchen and all culinary equipment before and after food service.

• Inventory & Recipe Management: Manage inventory, handle stock rotation, assist with purchasing, and ensure recipe development and compliance.

• Special Events: Flexibly handle last‑minute culinary requests for special events and facility functions.
