Live Well Healthcare Solutions is seeking a talented, classically trained Cook experienced in high-volume culinary operations to join our team at a Skilled Nursing Facility.

The role includes meal preparation, plating, inventory management, and supporting the Dietary Manager to ensure smooth meal service. PTO and health insurance are provided; must be available to work every other weekend.

Responsibilities

• Meal preparation and culinary excellence: accurately prepare, portion, and cook meals for breakfast, lunch, and dinner following recipes.
• Plating and presentation: plate and garnish cooked items for an attractive menu presentation.
• Leadership support: liaison for the Dietary Manager during their absence to ensure seamless meal prep and delivery.
• Kitchen sanitation: maintain high sanitation standards in the kitchen and with equipment.
• Inventory and recipe management: manage inventory, rotate stock, assist with purchasing, and ensure recipe development.
• Special events: handle last-minute culinary requests for events and facility functions.

We are seeking a talented, classically trained Cook experienced in high-volume culinary operations to join our team at a Skilled Nursing Facility.

• Meal Preparation & Culinary Excellence: Accurately and efficiently prepare, portion, and cook a variety of nutritious meals for breakfast, lunch, and dinner following standardized recipes.

• Plating & Presentation: Plate and garnish all cooked items expertly to ensure an attractive menu presentation.

• Leadership Support: Act as a liaison for the Dietary Manager during their absence to ensure seamless meal prep and delivery.

• Kitchen Sanitation: Maintain high sanitation standards by thoroughly cleaning the kitchen and all culinary equipment before and after food service.

• Inventory & Recipe Management: Manage inventory, handle stock rotation, assist with purchasing, and ensure recipe development and compliance.

• Special Events: Flexibly handle last-minute culinary requests for special events and facility functions.
