Steelville Care and Rehab is seeking a Dietary Cook to support our resident-focused dining program. You will determine meal components, prepare according to menus, and help maintain inventory while ensuring safety and cleanliness in the kitchen.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• 1 year of experience preferred.
• Facility operates 24 hours a day; shifts may vary.
• Must maintain a working email address and phone number for employer communication.

Responsibilities

• Determine types and quantities of meats, vegetables, and soups to be prepared by reviewing planned menus.
• Prepare foods according to weekly menus and approved recipes.
• Assist in maintaining inventory and notify supervisor of shortages.
• Observe infection prevention and keep the kitchen clean and organized.
