Qualifications

• Understand dining services procedures and practices.
• Read/interpret recipes and menus.
• Must read, write, speak and understand English.
• Have genuine interest in seniors and patient care.
• Willingness to work for the residents' best interests.
• ServSafe certification preferred or willing to obtain.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and serve attractive meals per standardized recipes.
• Ensure proper portioning and serving according to recipes.
• Maintain and record temperatures daily.
• Direct and supervise dining aides when needed.
• Serve meals on time and gather resident feedback when possible.
• Follow safety, infection control, and sanitation guidelines.
