Job summary

Steelville Care & Rehab seeks a dedicated Dietary Aide to support residents with nutritious meals and compassionate service. Working in a team, you will prepare trays, deliver to units, and maintain hygiene across the dining area in a structured care setting.

We offer competitive pay based on experience, PTO after 30 days, holidays with premium pay, tuition reimbursement up to $5,000 per year, and a company 401(k) plan with matching contributions for full-time staff.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• 1 year of experience preferred.
• Ability to read, write and speak English.
• Professional demeanor and ethics.
• Good communication and relationship skills.
• Maintains confidentiality at all times.

Responsibilities

• Prepare food trays for general and therapeutic diets.
• Prepare and deliver items to resident care units or residents.
• Maintain a clean, organized tray line.
• Prepare special diet foods as necessary.
• Deliver food carts and return them to kitchen on schedule.
• Oversee dishwashers and manage wash temperatures.
• Assist in salads, desserts and other nourishments.
• Observe infection prevention practices and participate in improvement activities.
