Forest Hills Care & Rehabilitation Center in Tulsa, OK is seeking a Dietary Cook to support our residents with high-quality meals. You will plan menus, prepare nutritious dishes, supervise kitchen staff, and ensure food safety.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED preferred.
• 1 year of experience preferred.
• Must maintain a working email address and phone number for employer communication.
• Facility operates 24 hours a day; schedules and hours may vary.

Responsibilities

• Review planned menus and determine types and quantities of meats, vegetables, and soups.
• Determine weekly food quantities and submit orders to Dietary Supervisor.
• Maintain perpetual supplies inventory and notify shortages or discrepancies.
• Consult with Dietary Supervisor on leftovers, storage, and labeling.
• Consult with registered dietitian on modified diets.
• Supervise dietary workers during washing, trimming, or food prep.
• Train and orient newly hired dietary staff.
• Prepare foods using approved recipes and ensure proper temperatures.
• Observe infection prevention and maintain a clean, organized kitchen.
• Perform all tasks to support resident safety and reduce medication/healthcare errors.
