Job summary

Forest Hills Care & Rehabilitation Center is seeking a compassionate Dietary Cook to support residents with nutritious meals prepared to meet dietary needs. This full-time role offers benefits and growth opportunities in a supportive, team-focused kitchen environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• 1 year of experience preferred.
• Must maintain a working email address and phone number for employer communication.
• Facility operates 24 hours a day; schedules may vary.

Responsibilities

• Review planned menus and determine types and quantities of meats, vegetables, and soups.
• Determine weekly food quantities and submit orders to Dietary Supervisor.
• Maintain inventory and notify supervisor of shortages or discrepancies.
• Consult with Dietary Supervisor on leftovers, storage, and labeling.
• Consult with registered dietitian on modified diets.
• Supervise dietary workers during washing, trimming, or prep.
