Harmony Gardens of Columbus is seeking a dependable Dietary Cook to join our culinary team in our assisted living facility in Columbus. You will prepare nutritious meals, assist with plating, and ensure safe food handling while following dietary requirements for residents.

The role emphasizes teamwork, attention to resident satisfaction, and collaboration with dietary staff to maintain a welcoming dining experience for seniors.

Qualifications

• Experience cooking for groups or residents preferred.
• Knowledge of safe food handling and temperature control.
• Ability to follow menus, recipes and dietary requirements.
• Team oriented with good communication.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and serve meals according to menus, recipes, and dietary requirements.
• Assist with meal plating and presentation.
• Ensure food is prepared and served safely and at proper temperatures.
• Follow therapeutic and special diet instructions as directed.
• Assist with resident meal service and customer satisfaction.
• Prepare snacks and beverages as scheduled.
• Rotate inventory using FIFO procedures.
• Maintain adequate supplies and report inventory needs.
• Provide courteous service to residents, families, and guests.
• Work with dietary staff and other departments to support dining experience.
