Job summary

The Highlands at Owasso is seeking a Dietary Cook to provide nutritious meals for residents, staff, and guests, following predetermined standards and dietary guidelines.

Applicants with LTC dietary experience and a Food Handler's permit are highly desirable. Strong English communication is required to ensure clear and compassionate service.

Qualifications

• Must have a High School Diploma or GED.
• Experience in food prep and service preferred for a Dietary Cook.
• Experience in LTC Dietary preferred.
• Food Handler's permit is required.
• Customer service skills are required.
• Must be able to speak, understand, and write fluent English.

Responsibilities

Position Summary:

Dietary Cook helps to provide the nutritional needs of our residents, staff, and guest. In this role, you will cook and serve food that follows specific, predetermined standards and nutritional or dietary guidelines. This role is essential to the health of our residents, so we are looking for someone with experience in both food preparation and nutrition. Applicants with experience in elderly care or cooking for individuals with strict dietary restrictions is highly desirable.
