Job summary

Rose Meadows Health and Rehab Center in Pittsburgh is seeking a full-time dietary aide to prepare meals according to resident diet specifications and safety guidelines. You will work under the Food Service Director, assist in food prep, and help maintain clean kitchen and dining areas in a skilled nursing setting.

Position Summary:

The primary purpose of your job is to prepare food in accordance with prescribed resident diet specifications, community procedures, and food safety and sanitation regulations, under the supervision of the Food Service Director. As needed, you will also assist in food preparation and services while maintaining clean and sanitary conditions in the kitchen and dining areas as directed by the Food Service Director or Cook. Follows all health, sanitary and infection control policies and maintains established standards of practice set forth by the community's administration and Dietary Policies and Procedures.

Education/Qualifications:

• Must be a high school graduate or equivalent is required.

  • We can provide guidance and resources to help you earn your GED.

• Must possess a working knowledge of the fundamentals of food safety and sanitation.

• Must meet and remain current with state specific requirements for food handler training.

Shift and Wage:

• Full-Time Opportunity Available

• Shifts Needed: 12:00p - 8:30p

• Wage: $17.00 - $19.00 per hour
