Job summary

The Cook - Dietary Aide HCC role at Pruitthealth Corporation supports food service operations, preparing meals and nourishing residents in accordance with dietary guidelines, state and federal regulations, and resident needs. It works with the Food Service/Dietary Manager to ensure meals are served at proper temperatures and times.

Key duties include assisting with meal preparation, serving nourishments, maintaining hygiene, recording temperatures, stocking supplies, and complying with infection

Qualifications

• One year institutional food service experience as a cook.
• Ability to follow recipes and guidelines from Dietitian and supervisor.
• Knowledge of food safety and sanitation procedures.

Responsibilities

• Assist cook in meal preparation for patients/residents, including salads, desserts and snacks.
• Serve nourishments in accordance with procedural guidelines.
• Properly store leftovers and opened food.
• Follow procedures for serving partner meals and ensure accurate substitutions.
• Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of work areas and dining tables.
