Job summary

Meadows Ridge Care Center is seeking a Dietary Cook to support patient meals in our dietary services department. Flexible shifts include 5A-1P and 11A-7P, with AM/PM coverage to meet daily nutrition needs for residents.

Responsibilities include food station setup, inventory, meal preparation and plate presentation, while maintaining cleanliness and safety standards in a non-exempt, full-time role.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Fully vaccinated against COVID-19 including booster.
• Active Safe Serve Food Handler’s Card.
• Good physical health to stand for long periods.

Responsibilities

• Clean food stations and wash dishes, cooking vessels and silverware.
• Stock ingredients and monitor inventory.
• Serve palatable, nourishing, and well-balanced diets.
• Assist in cooking and gathering ingredients for meals.
• Assists in dishwashing operation and cleaning tasks.

Dietary Cook Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Fully vaccinated against COVID-19 including Booster shots
• Requires an active and current Safe Serve Food Handler’s Card

Primary Dietary Cook Responsibilities
