Job summary

Meadows Ridge Care Center is hiring a Dietetic Cook to join the Dietary Services team. The role requires flexibility to work 5A-1P or 11A-7P shifts and full-time commitment. You will prepare meals that meet daily nutritional needs of patients and maintain clean work areas.

Ideal candidates will have a high school diploma, be fully vaccinated for COVID-19 with boosters, hold a Safe Serve Food Handler’s Card, and be physically capable of standing for long periods while maintaining quality service.

• Active Safe Serve Food Handler’s Card.
• Good physical health to stand for long periods.

Responsibilities

• Clean food stations and wash dishes, cooking vessels and silverware.
• Stock ingredients and monitor inventory.
• Serve palatable, nourishing, and well-balanced diets.
• Assist in cooking and gathering ingredients for meals.
• Assists in dishwashing operation and cleaning tasks.

Dietary Cook Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
