AVIR Health Group is seeking a qualified Dietary Cook to join our family and care for residents. The role prepares and cooks high-quality foods for regular and modified diets, serving residents, guests, and staff while adhering to state health rules and facility standards.

Walk-ins are welcome daily, with competitive compensation, daily pay options, 401k with match, company-paid holidays and PTO, family health insurance, and other benefits.

Qualifikationen

• High school diploma or GED.
• Previous office experience preferred.
• Previous Nursing Home experience preferred.
• Culinary and/or food service experience in a health care facility preferred.

Aufgaben

• Utilize a variety of cooking and food preparation equipment and techniques.
• Prepare simple food regimes and basic modified diets regarding individual resident nutritional needs.
• Adjust recipes to yield the required number of servings if necessary.
• Test recipes and recommend changes in recipes.
• Prepare and cook food in batches, maintaining high quality and appeal.
• Directs activities of one or more workers who assist in preparing and serving meals.
