AVIR Health Group is seeking a qualified Dietary Cook to join our family. The role prepares and cooks food for residents, guests, and employees, following health regulations and facility standards. You will adjust recipes for modified diets and supervise meal service.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Culinary/food service experience in health care setting preferred.
• Experience in nursing home environments is a plus.
• Office experience not required but not excluded.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and cook foods for residents, guests, and employees.
• Follow health regulations and facility standards.
• Modify diets and adjust recipes for portions.
• Test and improve recipes for quality and appeal.
• Direct one or more workers in meal preparation and service.
