Job summary

Farmington Village Nursing and Rehab is seeking a Cook to prepare meals and assist with serving in a full-time role. The position includes every other weekend and 3-4 days per week, with responsibilities across meal prep, clean-up, and maintaining food service areas.

The Cook will follow dietary guidelines, monitor sanitation, ensure proper food storage, and backup dining operations when needed, while maintaining kitchen equipment and supporting the Dietary Manager.

Qualifications

• Experience in food service is beneficial.

• Maintains cleanliness of dining and kitchen areas.

Responsibilities

• Prepares and serves meals according to dietary guidelines.
• Monitors cleanliness and sanitation of food service areas.
• Ensures proper food storage per regulations and Health Department guidelines.
• Sets up dining areas and backs up food service as needed.
• Keeps kitchen equipment in good working order and supports kitchen maintenance.
• Performs other tasks as assigned by Dietary Manager.
