Job summary

Farmington Village Nursing and Rehab is seeking a Cook to prepare meals and assist with serving in a full-time role. The position includes every other weekend and 3-4 days per week, with responsibilities across meal prep, clean-up, and maintaining food service areas.

The Cook will follow dietary guidelines, monitor sanitation, ensure proper food storage, and backup dining operations when needed, while maintaining kitchen equipment and supporting the Dietary Manager.

Cook Position Summary:

• Prepares and serves meals according to the dietary guidelines established by the facility's Health Department.

• Monitors cleanliness and sanitation of food service areas.

• Ensures that all food is stored in accordance with the facility's regulations.

• Ensures that all dining areas are properly set up and serves as a backup in case of food service emergencies.

• Ensures that all kitchen equipment is in proper working order and assists in maintaining the kitchen area.

• Performs other tasks as needed or assigned by the Dietary Manager.
