Job summary

Summit Ridge Assisted Living in Douglas, WY is seeking a Dietary Cook to prepare meals for residents in accordance with dietary plans and safety standards. You will work within the Food Services department under the Dietary Manager, following menus and therapeutic diets as prescribed.

Responsibilities include coordinating with the Dietitian, maintaining clean kitchen facilities, managing inventory, and ensuring meals are served on time while upholding dignity and respect for residents.

Qualifications

• High school diploma preferred.
• Current/ Active Food Handlers Permit.
• Must be 18 years of age.
• One year dietary/food service supervisory experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Reviews menus prior to food preparation and prepares meals.
• Works with the Dietitian/Director of Food Services and implements recommended changes as required.
• Ensures that food procedures are followed in accordance with established policies.
• Prepares meals in accordance with planned menus.
• Assists in daily cleaning and inventory as needed.
