Senior Solutions Management Group in Springdale, AR is seeking a dedicated Dietary Cook to support our residents with nutritious meals and therapeutic diets.

You will prepare food according to the planned menu, follow safety procedures, keep areas clean, monitor temperatures, and assist with special events while contributing to a warm, engaging senior living environment, and grow with our company.

Qualifications

• Experience preparing food for regular and therapeutic diets.
• Knowledge of proper food handling and safety techniques.
• Ability to maintain proper food temperatures and record temperatures.

Responsibilities

• Prepare food for regular and therapeutic diets according to the planned menu.
• Follow proper food handling and safety techniques according to established policies and regulations.
• Ensure that the proper quantity of food is prepared.
• Prepare food for special events as instructed by the supervisor.
• Keep work area clean and uncluttered during preparation and service of food.
• Use proper technique to taste prepared food to ensure quality taste and palatability prior to service.
• Maintain the proper temperature of food during preparation and service.
• Record temperatures of food according to established policy.
• Ensure that meals are served in an attractive, appetizing manner.
• Ensure that refrigerator/freezer temperatures are within the appropriate range.
• Washes pots, pans, serving utensils, etc. according to established procedures for manual and/or automatic dishwashing.
• Make recommendations regarding improvements in recipes, menus, production and service of food, equipment, etc.
