Qualifications

• At least one year of institutional cooking experience, preferably in long-term care or hospital settings.
• Ability to read and interpret recipes, menus, and production sheets; familiarity with food ordering and health regulations.
• Strong communication to coordinate with team and department heads while adhering to state health standards.

Responsibilities

• Meal preparation and service according to dietary guidelines, portion control, and special needs.
• Maintain safe food handling and sanitation practices.
• Operate and maintain kitchen equipment, manage inventory, and communicate with residents, families, and staff.
