Job summary

The role reports to the Director of Food Services and requires basic English proficiency, a high school education, and a sanitation certificate. Experience in healthcare food service is preferred.

Qualifications

• Must have high school education or equivalent.
• One year dietary experience in a hospital, skilled nursing facility, or related medical facility preferred.
• Sanitation certificate such as SafeServ is required.

Responsibilities

• Review menus prior to preparation of food.
• Prepare meals in accordance with planned menus and standardized recipes.
• Serve meals and ensure proper portion control.
• Maintain a clean and safe kitchen environment and report hazards to the Director of Food Services.
