Elizabeth Care Center seeks a Dietary Cook to prepare meals tailored to residents' dietary needs in a busy healthcare kitchen, collaborating with our Nutritionist to ensure meals are nutritious, delicious, and visually appealing.

You will monitor supplies, order ingredients, maintain a clean kitchen, and train kitchen staff while following all food safety and sanitation guidelines in a fast-paced environment that prioritizes resident well-being.

Qualificações

• Must be a graduate of an accredited culinary school program (associate or bachelor’s degree) OR
• Have a bachelor’s degree with major concentration in food preparation, nutrition or related field OR
• Have a high school diploma with a minimum of five (5) years in hospitality industry.
• Previous cook experience preferred, as well as experience in health care food service setting.
• Must have knowledge of dietary regulatory requirements.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Responsabilidades

• Prepare and cook meals according to dietary requirements and recipes
• Ensure that all meals are nutritious, delicious, and visually appealing
• Monitor food supplies and order ingredients as needed
• Maintain a clean and organized kitchen
• Follow all food safety and sanitation guidelines
• Collaborate with Nutritionist to develop menus that meet the dietary needs of our residents
• Train and supervise kitchen staff as needed
