Qualifications

• Ability to communicate effectively in English.

Responsibilities

• Prepare meals according to planned menus, standardized recipes, and special diet orders.
• Ensure meals are prepared and served on time and in appropriate portions.
• Prepare food for therapeutic and special diets as directed.
• Review menus and diet changes prior to meal preparation.
• Assist with meal service, substitutions, and special events as needed.
• Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of kitchen, equipment, and food storage areas.
• Follow infection control, food safety, and sanitation standards.
• Monitor food supplies and report needs to Food Services Director.
• Complete required documentation and reports in accordance with HIPAA and resident confidentiality requirements.
