We are seeking a Dietary Services Cook/Aide to join our team. You will provide exceptional, patient-centered care by preparing nourishing meals, maintaining sanitation standards, and supporting the dietary needs of our residents and staff. Effective communication with residents, staff, and visitors is essential.

Responsibilities

• Assist in training and supervising dietary personnel and food preparation.
• Estimate food requirements, store leftovers properly, and ensure food safety and quality.
• Maintain cleanliness and sanitation in all kitchen and service areas.
• Prepare and serve meals according to guidelines, and assist with tray and nourishment services.
• Follow safety and sanitation protocols, and ensure confidentiality and privacy of patient information.
• Support staff training and departmental needs, and perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required; coursework in nutrition or food service management preferred.
• Minimum 2 years experience in institutional food service; healthcare experience is a plus.
• ServSafe certification required or obtainable within 30 days.
• Strong communication, documentation, and organizational skills.
• Attention to detail and ability to work harmoniously with others.
