We are hiring a full-time Cook/Dietary Aide to work in a collaborative team setting to provide healthy and homemade meals within a convent home for Franciscan sisters in Chicago, IL (West Peterson Ave, 60659, near Lincolnwood and North Park). This is a full-time position (32 hours per week) working days and afternoons, including a weekend rotation.

General Summary

The Cook/Dietary Aide alternates between cook duties and dietary aide responsibilities during the work shift. Responsible for preparing, serving, and delivering food according to established menus, recipes, sanitary standards, and policies.

Education And Experience

• Minimum of two (2) years of experience in an institutional food service environment.
• Experience in eldercare settings preferred.
• SERV Safe certification preferred.
• Cook or Prep Cook experience is a PLUS!
• High School diploma, GED, or equivalent required.
