Job summary

CareOne is hiring a Cook in Whippany, NJ. The role involves preparing meals in line with regulatory standards and the facility's policies, under the direction of the Head Cook and Food Services Director. Multiple shifts and both full-time and part-time options are available.

Ideal candidates have a High School Diploma or equivalent, at least 1 year of dietary experience in a medical setting, and the ability to cook in large quantities. English literacy is required.

Qualifications

• Requires high school diploma or equivalent.
• At least 1 year of dietary experience in a hospital, skilled nursing facility, or other medical facility preferred.
• Ability to cook a variety of foods in large quantities.
• Must read, write, speak and understand English.

Responsibilities

• Prepare food in accordance with federal, state, and local standards and the facility's policies.
• Follow directions from Head Cook/Director of Food Services to ensure quality meals.
• Support a healthy, enjoyable dining program for residents.
