Job summary

CareOne is hiring a Dietary Cook in Edison, NJ. This full-time/part-time/per diem role involves preparing meals in accordance with regulations and our dining program to provide healthy, enjoyable dining experiences for residents.

The position supports multiple shifts and offers comprehensive benefits. Applicants should have a High School Diploma or equivalent, English proficiency, and ideally 1 year of dietary experience in a healthcare setting.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• 1 year of dietary experience in a hospital, skilled nursing facility or other related medical facility, preferred.
• Must be able to read, write, speak and understand the English language.
• Must be able to cook a variety of foods in large quantities.

Responsibilities

• Prepare food in accordance with current applicable federal, state and local standards, guidelines and regulations, with established policies and procedures, and as directed by Head Cook/Director of Food Services.
• Assist in maintaining quality food service at all times.

Salary Range- $16.00-$21.00 per Hour

The Cook is responsible for preparing food in accordance with current applicable federal, state and local standards, guidelines and regulations, with our established policies and procedures, and as may be directed by the Head Cook and/or Director of Food Services, to assure that quality food service is provided at all times.

Position Requirements
