Job summary

Waynesburg Nursing and Rehab is seeking a dedicated Dietary Cook to join our team and provide nutritious, well-prepared meals for residents. The role emphasizes caring, quality, and adherence to dietary restrictions and safety standards.

You will work with the Dietary Manager to ensure meals meet menus and portion control guidelines, while maintaining a clean, organized kitchen and dining area. Opportunities for growth exist within our facility.

Qualifications

• Previous cooking experience, preferably in healthcare, long-term care, or a commercial kitchen setting.
• Knowledge of safe food handling practices and dietary guidelines
• Strong organizational and teamwork skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks
• ServSafe certification (preferred, but not required)
