Aston Group is hiring a skilled Cook for our nursing and long-term care facilities. You will prepare, cook, and present meals that meet resident dietary needs while upholding safety standards.

The role emphasizes creativity in menu items, teamwork in a fast-paced kitchen, and a commitment to high-quality service for residents and staff.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Cook or Chef with strong culinary skills.
• Solid knowledge of cooking methods, ingredients, and kitchen equipment.
• Attention to detail and ability to follow recipes and dietary guidelines accurately.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and cook a variety of dishes using expert techniques, following menus and recipes.
• Deliver meals that look great, taste amazing, and meet residents’ dietary needs and preferences.
• Innovate by helping develop new recipes, seasonal specials, and menu items.
• Keep the kitchen spotless, organized, and compliant with all safety and hygiene standards.
• Manage inventory, monitor food stock, and assist with ordering ingredients as needed.
• Ensure every meal complies with dietary restrictions and health regulations.
• Provide exceptional service with a professional and positive attitude.

Join Our Team as a Cook – Where Every Meal Matters!

Shifts: 5a-1:30p or 12p-8p (with every other weekend)

With Serv Safe and Experienced in Nursing or Long Term Care Facility is required

Your Role:
