Job summary

The Onyx Health Consulting is seeking a skilled Cook to join our growing team in Florida. You will prepare and cook meals for residents, ensure quality and safety, maintain a clean kitchen, and deliver excellent customer service in a high-energy environment.

Responsibilities include following menus, accommodating dietary restrictions, managing stock, and supporting training programs and ongoing kitchen sanitation. The position includes daily pay options and opportunities for advancement.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Cook or Chef.
• Knowledge of various cooking techniques, ingredients, equipment, and procedures.
• Ability to multitask, prioritize, and manage time effectively.
• Ability to follow recipes and adhere to dietary restrictions and guidelines.
• Ability to perform under pressure and work in a high-energy environment.
• High school diploma or equivalent work experience.

• Monitor food stock levels, suppliers and order ingredients as necessary.
• Ensure compliance with food menu guidelines and health and safety regulations.
• Maintain a professional demeanor and provide quality customer service.
• Assist with receiving inventory, prepare daily prep lists and other duties as assigned.
