AVIR Health Group is seeking a dedicated Dietary Cook to join our family at Sweetwater. You will prepare and cook high-quality meals for residents and staff, ensuring all diets meet state health rules and facility standards. The role emphasizes teamwork, care for residents, and maintaining food quality.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Experience in nursing home care is preferred.
• Culinary/food service in healthcare setting preferred.

Responsibilities

• Utilize a variety of cooking and food preparation equipment and techniques.
• Prepare simple food regimes and basic modified diets for resident nutritional needs.
• Adjust recipes to yield required servings.
• Test recipes and suggest changes.
• Prepare and cook food in batches, maintaining high quality and appeal.
• Directs activities of workers who assist in preparing and serving meals.

We are searching for a Dietary Cook that is resident, and family-focused, a team builder, and excited about the opportunity to assist in building a facility culture. The purpose of this role is to prepare and cook high-quality foods for all regular and modified diets, serving residents, guests, and employees. Ensure all preparation and cooking strictly adheres to State Department of Health Rules and Regulations and established facility standards. Qualifications for Dietary Cook:

• High school diploma or GED.

• Previous office experience preferred.

• Previous Nursing Home experience preferred.

• Culinary and/or food service experience in a health care facility preferred.
