Job summary

Gulf Coast Health and Rehabilitation LLC is seeking a Dietary Cook to prepare meals in line with federal, state, local standards and facility procedures. The role supports daily operations and ensures high-quality food service for residents.

Candidates should have cooking experience, patience with the elderly, and the ability to follow written and oral instructions. The position offers benefits and opportunities within a compassionate care setting.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in cooking large quantities or completion of appropriate training program preferred.
• Must have patience, tact, enthusiasm and positive attitude towards the elderly and disabled
• Must be able to speak, read, write, and understand English
• Must be able to follow oral and written instructions
• Must be at least 18 years of age
• Must be capable of performing the essential functions of the job.

• Assist and direct the daily or scheduled cleaning duties.
