Job summary

Avir Health Group is seeking an experienced Dietary Cook to join our team. Prepare and cook high quality hot and cold foods for residents, guests, and staff in compliance with health regulations and facility standards.

You will work with diverse dietary needs, adjust recipes for portion sizes, and ensure meals are served with quality and appeal. This role may involve supervising kitchen assistants and coordinating meal production across shifts.

Qualifications

• Previous nursing home experience preferred
• Culinary and/or food service experience in a healthcare facility preferred

• Prepare simple food regimes and basic modified diets regarding individual resident nutritional needs.
• Adjust recipes to yield the required number of servings if necessary.
• Test recipes and recommend changes in recipes.
• Prepare and cook food in batches maintaining high quality and appeal.
• Directs activities of one or more workers who assist in preparing and serving meals.

We are seeking an experienced Dietary Cook to join our team!Prepare and cook high quality hot and cold foods for regular and modified diets for residents, guests, and employees of the facility in accordance with the State Department of Health Rules and Regulations and the standards set forth by the facility by performing the following duties.
