Job summary

Avir at Gonzales is seeking an experienced Dietary Cook to join our team. Prepare and cook high quality hot and cold foods for residents, guests and employees in accordance with health regulations and facility standards.

Responsibilities include using diverse cooking equipment, preparing modified diets, adjusting recipes for portions, testing recipes, cooking in batches, and supervising kitchen support staff.

Qualifications

• Previous nursing home experience preferred
• Culinary and/or food service experience in a healthcare facility preferred
