Responsibilities

  • Follow physician-prescribed therapeutic diets (diabetic, low-sodium, mechanical soft, puree, and others).
  • Ensure proper portion control and attractive meal presentation.
  • Maintain food quality, freshness, and safe food handling practices.
  • Monitor and record food temperatures in compliance with safety standards.
  • Assist with meal tray assembly and timely meal service.
  • Clean and sanitize kitchen equipment and work areas; practice proper storage and rotation.

If you take pride in preparing delicious, nutritious meals and enjoy making a meaningful difference in the lives of others, we'd love to meet you.As a Dietary Cook, you'll play an essential role in supporting the health and well-being of our residents by preparing high-quality meals that meet physician-ordered diets and healthcare nutrition standards. You'll work alongside a dedicated team committed to providing exceptional care and outstanding dining experiences.Position SummaryThe Dietary Cook is responsible for preparing, cooking, and serving meals according to approved menus, therapeutic diet requirements, and all food safety regulations.
