Now Hiring: Dietary AideMoraga Post Acute | Moraga, CAPay Rate: $19-$20.00 per HourPosition SummaryMoraga Post Acute is seeking a compassionate, dependable, and service-oriented Dietary Aide to join our Dietary Services team. This role is essential to providing quality nutritional care and an enjoyable dining experience for our residents. The Dietary Aide assists with meal preparation, food service, dining room support, and maintaining a clean and sanitary environment in accordance with healthcare and food safety standards. If you enjoy helping others and want to make a meaningful difference in a healthcare setting, we invite you to apply.Essential Duties and ResponsibilitiesAssist with meal preparation, tray setup, and meal service in accordance with physician orders and dietary guidelines.Deliver meals, snacks, and beverages to residents while ensuring accuracy and quality.Provide feeding assistance to residents as assigned and trained.Follow portion control standards and accommodate therapeutic diets, including diabetic, cardiac, low-sodium, and texture-modified meal plans.Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of kitchen equipment, dining areas, workstations, and food preparation surfaces.Wash, sanitize, and properly store dishes, utensils, cookware, and kitchen equipment.Stock food items, beverages, and supplies while assisting with inventory organization and storage.Follow all facility policies and procedures related to food safety, sanitation, infection control, and workplace safety.Provide courteous and respectful service to residents, families, visitors, and staff.Support special events, holiday meals, and other dietary department functions as needed.Work collaboratively with dietary staff to ensure efficient meal service and resident satisfaction.QualificationsHigh school diploma or equivalent preferred.Previous experience in food service, hospitality, dietary services, or a healthcare environment is preferred.Knowledge of food handling, sanitation, and food safety practices is a plus.Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.Positive attitude and commitment to providing exceptional customer service.Ability to interact professionally and compassionately with residents and team members.Compensation & BenefitsCompetitive Pay: $19- $20.00 per HourOpportunities for career advancement and professional developmentSupportive and collaborative team cultureRewarding work serving seniors and residents in a healthcare settingOngoing training and learning opportunitiesApply TodayBecome part of a dedicated team that helps enhance the health, comfort, and quality of life of our residents every day.
