Job summary

Laughlin Healthcare Center in Greeneville, Tennessee is seeking a compassionate Dietary Cook to join our care team. You will be essential in preparing and serving meals, ensuring food safety, and supporting residents with nourishing options.

The role requires a High School Diploma and ideally 1 year of dietary or food service experience; this is a full-time position with benefits including DailyPay, PTO, medical/dental/vision, and life insurance with a company match.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma required.
• 1 year of dietary or food service experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Ensure food procedures are followed in accordance with established policies.
• Complete administrative forms and submit to the Dietary Manager.
• Assist in establishing the food service production line to ensure meals are prepared on time.
• Prepare and serve meals, bedtime snacks, and substitute meals as necessary.
• Assist in daily cleaning duties and maintain stock levels of staple and non-staple food, supplies, and equipment.
• Perform other tasks as assigned by the Dietary Manager and/or VP of Nutritional Services.
• Maintain confidentiality of protected health information.

Dietary Cook Position Summary

As a Dietary Cook at Laughlin Healthcare, you'll be an essential part of our residents' care. Responsibilities include:

• Ensure food procedures are followed in accordance with established policies.
• Perform administrative requirements such as completing necessary forms, reports, etc. and submit to the Dietary Manager.
• Assist in establishing food service production line to assure meals are prepared on time.
• Prepare and serve meals, prepare bedtime snacks, and serve substitute meals and/or snacks as necessary.
• Assist in daily cleaning duties and ensure stock levels of staple and non-staple food, supplies, and equipment are maintained at adequate levels.
• Perform any other additional tasks as assigned by the Dietary Manager and/or VP of Nutritional Services.
• Maintain confidentiality of protected health information, including verbal, written and electronic communications.

Dietary Cook Requirements
