Job summary

Franklin Wellness & Rehabilitation Center is seeking a compassionate Dietary Cook to join our care team in Franklin, TN. In this role, you will be essential in preparing meals, following established food procedures, and assisting in daily kitchen operations to support residents' nutrition.

Applicants should have a High School Diploma and up to 1 year of dietary or food service experience. We offer benefits and a team-driven environment with growth opportunities in a caring community.

Qualifications

• 1 year of dietary or food service experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Follow established food procedures.
• Complete required forms and reports and submit to the Dietary Manager.
• Assist in establishing production lines to ensure meals are prepared on time.
• Prepare and serve meals, bedtime snacks, and substitute meals as needed.
• Assist in daily cleaning and maintain stock levels of food, supplies, and equipment.
• Perform additional tasks as assigned by the Dietary Manager and VP of Nutritional Services.
• Maintain confidentiality of protected health information.

Dietary Cook Position Summary

As a Dietary Cook at Franklin Wellness & Rehab, you'll be an essential part of our residents' care. Responsibilities include:

• Ensure food procedures are followed in accordance with established policies.

• Perform administrative requirements such as completing necessary forms, reports, etc. and submit to the Dietary Manager.

• Assist in establishing food service production line to assure meals are prepared on time.

• Prepare and serve meals, prepare bedtime snacks, and serve substitute meals and/or snacks as necessary.

• Assist in daily cleaning duties and ensure stock levels of staple and non-staple food, supplies, and equipment are maintained at adequate levels.

• Perform any other additional tasks as assigned by the Dietary Manager and/or VP of Nutritional Services.

• Maintain confidentiality of protected health information, including verbal, written and electronic communications.
