Job summary

Henderson Health and Rehabilitation Center is seeking a compassionate Dietary Cook for a full-time role in Henderson, Tennessee. You will work as part of a team to prepare and serve meals, ensure adherence to food safety policies, and support daily operations in the nutrition services department.

Responsibilities

• Ensure food procedures are followed in accordance with established policies.
• Complete necessary forms and reports and submit to the Dietary Manager.
• Assist in establishing food service production line to assure meals are prepared on time.
• Prepare and serve meals, bedtime snacks, and substitute meals as necessary.
• Assist in daily cleaning duties and maintain stock levels of supplies and equipment.
• Perform additional tasks as assigned by the Dietary Manager and VP of Nutritional Services.
• Maintain confidentiality of protected health information.

Dietary Cook Position Summary

• Ensure food procedures are followed in accordance with established policies.
• Perform administrative requirements such as completing necessary forms, reports, etc. and submit to the Dietary Manager.
• Assist in establishing food service production line to assure meals are prepared on time.
• Prepare and serve meals, prepare bedtime snacks, and serve substitute meals and/or snacks as necessary.
• Assist in daily cleaning duties and ensure stock levels of staple and non-staple food, supplies, and equipment are maintained at adequate levels.
• Perform any other additional tasks as assigned by the Dietary Manager and/or VP of Nutritional Services.
• Maintain confidentiality of protected health information, including verbal, written and electronic communications.
