Job summary

Eastland Sub Acute & Rehabilitation in El Monte, CA is seeking a Dietary Cook to join our team for a full-time shift 12pm-9pm, preparing meals that meet daily nutritional and dietary needs of patients.

You will clean stations, stock ingredients, serve balanced diets, assist in cooking, and support dishwashing. Eligible candidates must have a high school diploma, be fully vaccinated including boosters, hold a valid Safe Serve Food Handler's Card, and be in good physical health.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Fully vaccinated against COVID-19 including Booster shots is required.
• Active Safe Serve Food Handler's Card is required.
• Good physical health to stand for long periods.

Responsibilities

• Clean food stations and wash dishes, cooking vessels and silverware.
• Stock ingredients and monitor inventory.
• Serve palatable, nourishing, and well-balanced diets.
• Assist in cooking and gathering ingredients for meals.
• Assists in dishwashing operation and cleaning tasks.

Dietary Cook Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent

Primary Dietary Cook Responsibilities

PAY SCALE: $19.50

Depending on a number of factors, including, but not limited to location, regularly scheduled work shift, knowledge, skills, experience, and expertise.
